Breakthrough Conference Day Three

Conference Feedback!

“Rick and I were there as well and we were so blessed to hear the zambian vocal group. They made the evening so much fun. I love that they interacted with everyone by trying to teach us how to sing in Zooloo. I can’s even spell it. It was such a blessing to meet other missionaries from all over the world and to know that they all had come together at this one place to fellowship and to worship God.

Praise God for Calvary Commission, the vision God has put in their heart to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This ministry is truely His hand and His feet.”

Saturday Report

The morning session opened with a report from Veteran Missionary Edward Mauricio. He spoke of the new tribal leaders that have been raised up and have taken over the reigns and have a vision for expansion in the tribal areas. With the new leaders taking the reigns over from where Edward once labored, he is now able to reach out into new areas and to meet new Pastors who are co-laborers in the harvest. Edward showed a video presentation of the new leaders and the fruits of their labor. There is an excitement of growth and of raising and training up new ministers

Colin Hurt expounded upon his first message of the Kingdom Word and how this is used in expanding the Kingdom and stepped into the message today of Kingdom Works. His text came out of Matthew 4 and as Jesus preached and taught the Kingdom Word, the result of this was signs and wonders following and that He had healed them all. He also shared that in order for us to be effective in true Kingdom expansion we need to have an intimacy with the Father to know the Father’s will. In John 14:12, “Jesus said, verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” Pastor Hurt emphasized that we can be assured that God will answer the prayer because it has been revealed to be His will. It is again out of the intimacy with the Father. It is then when the Father reveals His will to the Son. Revelation of HIS Kingdom works will only result from the intimacy with Father. In His presence God reveals His vision.

The evening session also held a special event with the ordination of James Mbewe, Richard Jones, Alejando Blanco, Joel Olvera Trejo, and Maria Antonieta S. De Olvera. These are faithful stewards who received their Ministerial Credentials.

Brother James Walker shared on the importance of not compromising into the world and by sticking to our convictions. He says we need to be different and not allow ourselves to apologize for the Gospel. We need to be able to speak the truth but always be able to do it with love.

Eduardo Gonzalez spoke from the text of Isaiah 64, for it was just a small group of people crying out for the nation that changed God’s heart and response to their sins. He said that all the Heavens and the universe could not contain God and yet the people had built a temple for him to dwell in. He went on to share that God is looking to dwell in a humble and contrite heart and those who tremble at God’s Word. He had shared that a whole nation could be saved in “one day”. God was taking him to another level of dependence and commitment to see the great change that the Lord wants to do for Cuba. The Lord gave him a Word in Jeremiah 31:16 and the essence of that scripture is that “my life belongs to God”. The service was ended with a congregational cry of repentance for our country-for Cuba, For Mexico, and for all the nations.
